It is fun to try to shoot portraits of a pet. They are sort of like children. They only look at you for a split second. They love to go for the lens. They want treats and their patience is very short. I don't know what pet or children photographers did before digital. With only 25 shots on a roll, no wonder all the old photos are so staged. For these quick shoots I only take about 10-15 photos if that, it doesn't really take a lot of images to get a good one.
