Goodbye to the beach.

Day 45

We went camping at Assategue Island in Maryland. The National Park bit of the beach allows dogs. I guess considering there are wild horses on the beach who leave a much bigger mess than a dog they decided it would be fine. My husband took Moab out into the ocean for a swim. It was quite an experience for Moab. It was a bit of a shocker for him. After his swim he was dried off real good and took a long nap in my husbands arms. We all had a good time at the beach and camping. We will definitely be back since I can't find many beaches that allow dogs.  FYI they also allow campfires on the beach.

We are taking Moab camping. We got to our campsite late so this is the best I could get considering I needed a flash and if you think a flash makes people's eyes look bad it is even worse for a dog.

If there was one photo to represent our summer it would be this one. We didn't go on any vacations, we just stayed home and played with puppy. Here Moab is being extremely tolerant, and besides the puppy chewing and nipping (that we are working on) he is a great dog! My husband sometimes wonders if he is happy. I always reply, "Of course he is; we didn't choose a jumping, barking, yipping, hyper dog, this is what we asked for; nice easy going, great temperament."

Moab had his shots again today. When she gave him his shots they didn't even phase him. He didn't even notice. He is 15 lbs now and old enough to meet other healthy dogs. Anyone up for a play date?

Another picture with a toy. I am finding that the toys help him sit still for a picture. He likes this one because it squeak's. My youngest son likes it too.

Puppy doesn't feel so well. He reacted to the immunization. We are taking it easy.
